2008-2009 is our 40th Season!
The society has been screening films in Ilkley, a town with no commercial cinema, for 40 years.
A committee of volunteers considers films voted for by the membership and tries to satisfy two slightly different groups - firstly those members who are film enthusiasts and want to see more foreign, esoteric or challenging films and secondly those interested in good, recent, mainly English language films.
Films are screened at Ilkley Playhouse on Weston Road, usually on Sunday evenings at 8.00 pm. We have our own screen, multimedia projector and quality sound system to enhance your enjoyment.
